F.W.Lanchester, The Life of an Engineer

Scarce biography of one of the most innovative designers from the early days of the motor car.  Illustrated. Hardbound with dust jacket.  15cm x 22cm.  In very good condition, some light marking to endpapers, plus a gift inscription, possibly from the author (“Daddy”) to his daughter.  The dust jacket has some creasing at the top as shown.  There are some original publicity leaflets for the book and a couple of letters from the author enclosed.
