Lamborghini – Bob Wallace, the Man who married Sportscars
£495.00
Limited to 350 individually numbered examples in the “USA edition” (that just means that it’s in English….I think that a separate Italian edition was planned, but I’m not sure whether it was ever published.
This is an extremely well illustrated chronicle of Bob Wallace’s life and career. He’s best known for his time at Lamborghini where he was the company’s first test driver and so had influence over the company’s legendary models such as Miura, Espada and Countach. It’s a hardbound book signed by Wallace to the title page; there’s a separate box containing a facsimilie pair of Wallace’s driving gloves, both housed in a sturdy slipcase. 24cm x 30cm. Long out-of-print and in new and unread condition – there is a tiny blemish to the front of the book, a production issue – the colour looks a little matt on the photo here as it is still covered in its original shrinkwrap. Comes in its original numbered mailing box – it will be sent in an additional box to preserve its originality.
Will be sent with tracking at extra cost – please enquire for cost and payment options, the book will be immediately reserved for you pending payment.
